This is mainly dealing with animal testing having to do with medicine rather than cosmetics. It pretty much goes in order but this is shorter and said slightly differently. If any of this is incorrect please let me know and give me a link to where you found this and I'll be happy to change this.

Pro
Preventing human suffering and deaths as well as finding cures for diseases are a main priority, while saving animal lives although important is not as important as saving human lives.

Con
Animals should be valued and not treated as objects whose primary purpose is personal gain (for humans).


Pro
Although keeping human suffering to a minimum keeping animal suffering to a minimum is also possible by keeping them in clean healthy places where anesthetics are used whenever possible and the animals are treated well.

Con
Keeping animal testing as comfortable and the least cruel possible it is seldom done.
